Volunteers Needed

Since September is such an important month, Monique's is looking for volunteers to help Treasured Locks For Children.

Volunteers are needed to help distribute flyers, go to school, help with fundraising, take information to the hospitals, and seek corporate sponsors.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated! We will be participating in the Spokane Valleyfest and would love to have volunteers to help with the treasure chest, donation paperwork and general public awareness.

Our Local Children Need Your Help This Month!

September is a very important month for Monique's Salon. It is National Childhood Alopecia and Cancer Awareness Month. Monique's Salon and all of the staff have joined with Treasured Locks For Children (www.locksforchildren.org) to help raise awareness for all of the children in need.

In 2008, Monique's Salon provided 48 children with wigs or hair pieces in our local area. That is almost one child per week needing all of our help.

We will be trying to raise $10,000 this month and collecting 300 hair donations. This will all go to Treasured Locks For Children and help our local children in the Spokane and Coeur d' Alene area.
